• Day 115

    April 25, 2025 – Week 17

    Catalyst

‟Loss is nothing else but change, and change is Nature’s delight.” ~ Marcus Aurelius

    Insight

Nature thrives on change. Forests regrow after fires, rivers carve new paths, and seasons cycle endlessly. Yet, when faced with personal change, we often cling tightly to the way things were.

Loss feels permanent, but Marcus Aurelius reminds us that it’s simply transformation in disguise. Losing a job, a relationship, or even an identity can feel catastrophic, until it becomes the seed of something new. When you stop viewing loss as an end and instead see it as a shift, like the Earth reshaping itself, the possibility for renewal opens. Change isn’t just inevitable; it’s core to survival, growth, and happiness.

    Reflection

Think of a situation in your life where loss led to positive, unexpected change. How might this shift your perspective on future loss?
