“Two kinds of gratitude: The sudden kind we feel for what we take; the larger kind we feel for what we give.” ~ Edwin Arlington Robinson
Insight
Gratitude often begins as a feeling—sudden, unplanned, and personal. But it also has the power to grow into something larger when shared with others. Expressing gratitude multiplies its effects, creating a connection between you and those who touch your life.
When you take time to reflect on the kindness, opportunities, or lessons you have received, gratitude comes naturally. But when you go a step further and turn outward to acknowledge someone else’s effort or impact, the experience deepens. Gratitude given becomes gratitude shared, strengthening relationships and reminding you of the give-and-take that enriches life.
Reflection
Who in your life deserves your gratitude today? How can you express it meaningfully?
