Happiness and freedom both depend on courage.
Insight
We often think of courage as grand gestures—bravery in the face of threats or danger. But courage plays a quiet yet essential role in our everyday lives. It’s at the heart of personal freedom. The courage to say no, to step out of someone else’s shadow, or to choose a path others might not understand is the foundation of a truly free and satisfying life.
Happiness doesn’t come from staying comfortable where doubt and fear reign. It grows each time we step into our authenticity, brush past discomfort, and live for what feels true. That inner freedom is the result of practicing courage, again and again.
