There is both visible labor and invisible labor.
Insight
Not all work is physical or easily measured. Invisible labor consists of thinking, planning, imagining, and problem-solving that happens in your head. It is just as vital as the work done on the “surface.” Every action is preceded by effort behind the scenes: the preparation, mental focus, and determination to make something happen.
Many people undervalue invisible labor because it’s harder to point to or quantify, but without it, progress would stall. Whether your work is visible or unseen, it’s worth recognizing every effort you make as valuable and necessary.
